Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description:
- Accounts Payable Specialist - Full cycle A/P. Processing checks, payments, keying and posting on Vantage by Epicor A/P software other duties as required.
- Must be well organized and detail oriented.
- Some knowledge of Vantage, Excel, and Word a plus.
- Person must have a minimum 5 year’s experience in Accounts Payable.
- Person must have good communication skills and experience with high volume A/P process.
Associate Buyer/Computer Admin Assistant
MASS Precision is fast-growing contract manufacturer with an opening for Associate Buyer/Computer Admin Assistant. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the staff of Senior Buyers and Purchasing Manager by expediting, following up on past due items, return of discrepant materials and updating our ERP system and various Access databases. A strong comfort level within a variety of commonly used business software and databases is required. Good opportunity for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day purchasing activities
- Communicate with suppliers on past due purchase orders, return of discrepant materials, etc.
- Review, take action and update data related to Purchasing in Vantage ERP System
Qualifications:
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Experience with ERP database preferred
- Time management/project management abilities with the ability to manage multiple tasks and/or priorities and easily adapt to changing situations and meet factory time sensitive deadlines.
Machining Estimator:
- 3 year verifiable machine estimating experience.
- Able to quote accurately for Lathes, Vertical CNC Mills, Horizontal Mills.
- Experience as a Journeyman machinist or Supervisor is a plus.
- Familiar with GD&T and understand how GD&T tolerances will effect process for manufacturing.
- Able to work with CAD models as well as 2D drawings. CAD knowledge is a must, working knowledge of SolidWorks is a plus.
- Responsible for interfacing with raw materials sources as well as secondary processing sources (ex:heat treat, plating, testing etc.).
- Considerable knowledge of manufacturing improvement initiatives, production methodologies and interpretation of engineering requirements to work comfortably in both production and R&D environments
- Working knowledge of metal painting processes
- Experience in painting or paint process line technology & equipment a plus.
- Should have the ability to analyze and plan multiple projects.
- Must be an energetic self-starter and take ownership of the Estimating Department.
- Able to assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
- Able to work with engineering, programming, QA, and planning dept’s on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
- Able to work in very fast paced environment.

Production Manager for CNC Machining/Lathes
POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production manager for CNC machining/lathes.
- Be able to oversee 40-50 workers day and swing shifts.
- Should understand Earned/Vouched Hours. Maintain production efficiencies Conduct Continuous Improvement meetings.
- Maintain Employee reviews, Schedule machine and maintain On Time Delivery.
- Able to work with MRP system.
- Knowledge of Vantage a plus.
- Conduct regular audits of manufacturing operations.
- Conduct MRB meetings.
- Strong background in employee development.
Sheetmetal Programmer/Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate within the quality manual, employee handbook, procedures and work instructions of MASS Precision Inc.
- Adhere to all Company Policy & Procedures and Department Procedures.
- Develop shop ready 2D flat layouts from Customer supplied 3D models.
- Proficient in editing 3D models to adapt to MASS manufacturing processes and tooling.
- Ability to add dimensions, views, sections and notes from 3D Customer models to shop drawings.
- Responsible for applying CNC code, generating set up sheets, materials verification for parts, and ensures work assignments and methods for quality with the 2D CAD file, applicable drawings and specifications.
- Brings to the attention to the Engineer Manager problems which affect the production / quality of the area for which responsible. This includes notification of special tooling needs when applicable.
- Ensure accuracy of program, route sheet and prints to provide a functionally and cosmetically sound part which can be manufactured.
- Assist in the development of the processes on each job.
- Expedite the materials, personnel and tooling required to process the jobs as requested.
- Support in the assistance of Quality Department by providing information necessary for the success of a part.
- Responsible to get back with Sales, Estimating or Planning on issues that make the parts non- manufacturable.
- Pass final information that will make a successful transition between engineering and the CNC department.
- Create all “print” MPI when applicable, including adding notes requested by the end user.

Able to work in a shop environment with a medium level noise and metal dust.

CNC Machinist Set-up

- Ability to read and properly interpret customer drawings, bills of materials and workmanship specifications.
- Capable of giving written and verbal instructions which augment and clarify drawings and specifications.
