Current Openings:

Press Brake Operator

  • Knowledge of all tools and dies used in a job. Set ups, trouble shooting and mechanical components of NC9-EX Brake machine, alarm codes and control box.
  • Knowledge of sheetmetal tolerances, bend relief’s, notches and tooling holes.
  • Excellent Blueprint reading skills.
  • Able to work in a shop environment with a medium level noise and metal dust.
  • Able to use calipers, protractors, and a calculator with trig functions and hand tools that are commonly used in the Brake department.
  • Demonstrated good hand/eye coordination.
  • Ability to work day/swing/night shift as required.
  • Excellent communication skills and good reading and writing skills.
  • Must have all tools necessary to effectively perform assigned tasks.
  • Quality oriented.
  • Proven ability to fix tapers on flanges and angle problems on parts.Set up and/or run Amada.
Hardware Operator
  • Must have a mechanical aptitude.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Knowledge of the proper operation and use of Haeger Hardware machine.
  • Proven ability to read blueprints and router sheets.
  • Perform repetitious tasks while keeping an eye for detail.
  • Able to use both hands in installing small hardware pieces, while simultaneously pressing the Haeger brake with their foot.
  • Must be able to use a foot push brake
  • Haeger Pem nut, Stand off, Studs
Welders
  • Create and check a First Article Inspection Report. demonstrate good hand and eye coordination.
  • Excellent blue-print reading abilities.
  • Excellent welding capabilities.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Understand specific work order flow.
  • Able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Able to keep arms bent for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to work day/swing/night as required.
  • Work in a shop environment with a medium level noise and metal dust particles.
  • Expert in the use of all machinery and tolls used in Welding.Set up pre-fitted parts for welding. uses hand tools, clamps, jigs and fixtures.
  • Work from specifications, drawings, prints or welding symbols.
  • May perform layout work and cut metal with a cutting torch.
  • Cycles times for each operation.
  • Checks work in process for any post fab employee requiring an in-process inspection sign off during the shift.
  • Assures all items on inventory list are logged in.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience


Sheetmetal Painter

  • Ability to receive verbal or written instructions that pertains to daily tasks.
  • Able to work in a shop environment with a medium level noise and metal dust particles.
  • Able to recognize a prepared part ready for paint.
  • Demonstrated good hand - eye coordination.
  • Ability to read routers and blue prints.
  • Understands specific work order flow.
  • Proficient in matching colors or sample colors and reading paint codes.
  • Understands the baking cycle.
  • Spray paint (wet) and Powder experience a plus


Masker/Demask

  • Ability to receive verbal or written instructions that pertains to daily tasks.
  • Knowledge of oscillators, sanders and grinders preferred.
  • Able to work in a shop environment with a medium level noise and metal dust particles.
  • Demonstrated good hand - eye coordination.
  • Ability to read routers.
  • Understands specific work order flow.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity is required to withstand the constant repetitive motions needed when using hand files.
  • Responsible for operating graining and finishing machines as needed.
  • Responsible for using hand-filing instruments as needed.

CNC Machinist Set-up
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Organization and time management skills are a must.
  • Able to communicate both written and verbally with customers and management, in an effective, professional manner while adhering to company policy and procedures.
    Ability to read and properly interpret customer drawings, bills of materials and workmanship specifications.
  • Capable of giving written and verbal instructions which augment and clarify drawings and specifications.
  • Must be able to distinguish between acceptable and non-acceptable parts.
  • Must have knowledge in the use of hand tools and proper tools for each job at hand.
  • Good judgment and problem solving skills.
  • High attention for quality while maintaining a high rate of productivity.
  • Must be able to operate all types of hand tools, test equipment within the department and be able to instruct in the proper use of the tools.
  • Have the ability to train and indoctrinate new employees in duties and responsibilities, set-ups, operation of machines, tools, equipment and proper work procedures.
  • Able to interface with company personnel and customer representatives to resolve problems and assignments.
  • Able to lead a group of employees to achieve effective results in terms of quality, cost and schedule.
  • Must have 10 + years of experience. HAAS, FADAL, FANUC CONTROL

CNC Mill Programmer

  • Responsible for applying code, generating set up sheets, materials verification for parts, and ensures work assignments and methods for quality with the FV file, applicable drawings and specifications.
  • Brings to the attention to the Engineer Manager problems which affect the production / quality of the area for which responsible. This includes notification of special tooling needs when applicable.
  • Ensure accuracy of program, route sheet and prints to provide a functionally and cosmetically sound part which can be manufactured.
  • Assist in the development of the processes on each job.
  • Help in the physical running of the operation process of equipment if necessary. (See Fabricator job description.)
  • Expedite the materials, personnel and tooling required to process the jobs.
  • Support in the assistance of Quality Department by providing information necessary for the success of a part.
  • Responsible to get back with Sales, Estimating or Planning on issues that make the parts non- manufacturable.
  • Pass final information that will make a successful transition between engineering and the CNC department.
  • Create all “print” MPI when applicable, including adding notes requested by the end user.
  • Must be familiar with MASTERCAM.

Machine Shop Supervisor

  • Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineer and Planning to ensure jobs are on schedule.
  • Help develop and maintain guidelines for the tool crib attendant to follow and provide continuous improvements.
  • Enforce the CNC department work instructions by spot checking the operators work during their respective shifts.
  • Interacts with leads to review notes and/or instructions from previous shift.
  • Understands priorities by using Vantage dispatch and the backlog reports to prioritize and expedite jobs.
  • Performs quick surveys of all jobs in process in Brake, Hardware, Deburring and NC areas.
  • Updates the Job Schedule Board for brake leads
  • Perform First Article Inspection and In-Process checks throughout the shift.
  • Know what the Vantage dispatch requirements are.
  • Make sure the operator tools are maintained well. Identify tooling problems and get them fixed.
  • Audit employee's part counting and recording to ensure jobs are correct.
  • Oversee transactions of Vantage dispatch, bar-cording, labor efficiency and non-productive usage.
  • Assure that all the employees understand and follow the bar-code requirements.
  • Capable of managing 40+ employees.
  • Must be familiar with an MRP System, preferably Vantage.
  • Familiar with production measurements and reporting.

MPI Technician

  • Maintains records of departmental and customer quality defects.
  • Quality Alerts issued pertaining to defects received.
  • Works closely with department Supervisor to create MPI's (Manufacturing Process Instruction) for new jobs and updates existing MPI’s.
  • Documents defective parts through written and visual means.
  • Enters data in WIP defect log.
  • Works closely with Supervisor design and implement new training techniques.
  • Must have experience in mechanical/electrical assembly.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and have good writing skills.
